C's Finished Works

This is quite a large drawing of a Quarter Horse named Jake.
30"x22', pencil on cold press paper.

This is a drawing that I did after spending a summer photographing and sketching the animals at the Toronto Zoo.  It would have been nice to go to Africa, but alas my funds were not sufficient for such a trip!  This piece is called The River Runs Dry.
22"x30", pencil on cold press paper.

The Following is called Beating The Storm Home.  It was dedicated to a friend who at the time was battling cancer.
30"x22", pencil on cold press paper.

The drawing below is one of the largest pieces that I have ever done.  This piece is titled Stallions.
42"x30", pencil on water colour paper.

The next drawing is of an Anglo Arab horse that used to be a champion dressage horse.  I got to spend an entire afternoon photographing and sketching him.  Although he was old and retired you could still see his athletic personality shining through.  This piece is title Old Anglo Arab with Hanoverian.
22"x30", pencil on cold press paper.

This is one of two commissioned portraits that I did.  This drawing is titled after the horses name, Cee Bee Cee (He is aThoroughbred Horse).
27"x23', pencil on cold press paper.

This is the second of the commissioned portraits that I did.  This drawing is also titled after the horses name, Wimpleo Dawn Light.  (She is a Quarter Horse).
20'x30", pencil on acid free board.

This drawing is one of my smaller pieces.  I believe I drew this one about 15 years ago.  It is called Rouge Male.

C's Works in Progress

I have always been really, really, really hesitant to show people any of my art work before it is done.  The most obvious reason is that the work looks nothing like it will once it is done and I hate hearing comments from people critiquing my work before it has been completed.

So... I'm going to try and be a big girl and not let the side remarks about my unfinished work bother me.  Please feel free to comment.  It will help me reach that super zen state where words from others do not sway me from my original course of action!  Or some crazy thing like that.

C.

This piece does not have a title yet (or I am just keeping it a secret until it is done).  So for now we will call it "Abstract 2"

This piece will be called (for now) Abstract 1
